Time to Start Looking for the Perfect Gifts!

Well the chill is in the air... Halloween is past and now the Holiday Rush is biting at our heels. I know that is doesn't feel like it yet, but it is there. Usually we can procrastinate until after Thanksgiving, but wouldn't it be nice to have a bunch of it finished already?

I have seen some truly awesome ideas for gifts on Etsy. I will be sharing some of my favs in the next few days.

Keep a watch out for it!

Go Pink in October!

It's October and that means it is time to show your support in finding a cure for Breast Cancer.
Every little bit we can do helps.

In the spirit of raising awareness and finding a cure many shops on Etsy are donating a percentage of their sales to the cause. It is a double bounus as you are also getting something to wear or share in return.

Pamper Yourself!

I have had the great pleasure of finding a wonderful source for bath and body products. The name is Sweet Spice Essentials Botanical Body Care. You can find her shop at http://www.sweetspice.etsy.com/.

I have purchased her products for myself as well as for giving as gifts. Let me tell you they are well received gifts!

I love the way my skin feels after using one of her natural surgar scrubs. Here are some of my favs:

Also if you like a little more time in the bathtub, try one of these.... fizzing bath bomb...Oh so refreshing and indulging!

Are you planning for a wedding? Try giving these as gifts to your attendants. Or use the new line of Barefoot Essentials to get those feet ready to be seen.

Sweet Spice is a "Green" company. Here is a bit more about here in her own words:

I've been making fresh, botanical sugar scrubs since 2003, shortly after being introduced to the concept of "if I won't eat it, I won't wear it" by the day spa owner I worked for upon graduating massage school. I also have severe allergic reactions to anything commercially scented, even the ones labeled "hypo-allergenic". Those two combined led to the creation of Sweet Spice Essentials Botanical Body Care! After working in the spa industry for a few years, I began teaching at a local massage school and continued my herbology, essential oils and aromatherapy studies. I have been using essential oils in my personal medicine cabinet for over 6 years and I am always amazed at the therapeutic, healing wonders they offer. Each of my products are individually handcrafted in a smoke-free, pet-free environment upon purchase. I grow the herbs in my backyard greenhouse and use only certified organic essential and carrier oils, cosmetic grade un-cut fragrance oils, seeds and spices to create my scrubs and salts

Sweet Spice Essentials believes that body products should be fun while gettin' the job done!

♥ Each product is made fresh, upon purchase

♥ NO chemicals / preservatives / parabens / synthetic dyes

♥ I love creating custom blends!

♥ Gift orders

Go ahead....Give your body a break and get some of your new favorites! Tell her I sent you!

Mother's Day !

It's coming. As it does EVERY year. So no excuses to forget the beautiful women in our lives. The ones who gave birth to us, raised us, and even those who take on "mothering" us in our adult lives.

They may not be your "real" mom, but if they love you enough to give you guidance, strength, and a real sence of self-worth then let them know you appreciate them.

Where would we be without the Mother's in our world? Thanks MOMS!

Stitch Markers. Yeah!

Oh Yeah! I love to bead and I love to knit. I Hate loosing count of my stitches! So I put the two together and made these stitch markers.

No more stopping to count the 100 or more stitches on my knitting needle. I hope anyway.

I will be experimenting with new colors in the near future. These are made with Rhodonite and Swarovski Pearls.

I think they would make an awesome Mother's Day gift. You can purchase them at my shop on Etsy. I will even include a gift box! www.saralibbey.etsy.com

Watch for more styles coming soon!

The Sweetest Chocolate Easter Bunnies

I found the Sweetest Chocolate Easter Bunnies at Tammy's Treasures. And one of the best parts of these little guys is that they are fat-free, sugar-free, and they will last forever!

Tammy puts so much love, care and attention to detail in these bunnies that you may be tempted to take a bite. Please refrain, they are in fact made of fabric.

This Chocolate Bunny has a White Chocolate Chenille cousin for those who prefer the creamy indulgence. Either way you choose, dark , white, or some of each I know you will love them.

You can find this little sweeties in Tammy's online shop @ Etsy. An online shoppers dream for hand crafted items. http://www.tammystreasures.etsy.com/
This is from Tammy's bio page at Etsy:
At Tammy's Treasures, you'll find only unique, professionally crafted, hand-made, one-of-a-kind items, including scrapbook page sets, tag sets, and embellishments; festive seasonal decorative ceramic creations; kid's crafts; and many other unique 'crafty' items.
I try to add new items each week, so please stop by often to see what I have available. Also, I love creating special orders, so if you see something you'd like in a different color, or in a different style, please let me know.
And you can always visit my Etsy shop @ www.saralibbey.etsy.com

I am so proud!

I am just so proud of these earrings I made today. Earlier I stopped at one of the local bead shops, to get my fix, and picked up some new beads. Usually when I do this the beads sit in my stash for a while before I feel inspired enough to try and create a new item.

Today was different. I hawked over the bead stores massive inventory and zoned in on what reminded me of the Delicious coffee I sipped just minutes before with my great bead-buddy Janet.

Well here they are, and I just love them. I call them Cafe Au Lait Java Jive. Let me know what you think of them. If you would love them and care for them I could be tempted to share my caffeine concoctions for the ears with you.

Hello Out There

Hello to all who may stumble on this. This is my first attempt at blogging. I am sure to be short and hopefully sweet.

I am a stay-at-home mom who helps out a few hour a week at the Family Bathroom Remodeling store.

I love my husband, kids, cats and now I have found a new vice. Making Jewelry. It is fun, relaxing and I can make a few bucks at it too. I sell on Ebay and Etsy. See link below.
